Armenian Opera Workshop was founded in 2023 to empower the next generation of opera singers in Armenia and neighbouring regions with world-class training, mentorship, and international exposure.

What We Do​

Intensive masterclass weeks
We host multi-week programs where selected participants receive individual coaching in repertoire, interpretation, vocal technique, stagecraft, language and career development.

Live Auditions & Casting Events
In collaboration with leading international competitions and opera institutions, we bring casting and audition opportunities directly to Yerevan — opening doors to European and global stages.

Networking & Mentorship
We facilitate meetings with casting directors, artistic administrators, heads of opera studios, and agency representatives to help you build essential professional connections.
Impact

In 2024, we hosted auditions for Neue Stimmen International Competition and welcomed the head of the Salzburg Festival Young Artists Project and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to judge and mentor candidates.

Over 60 singers from Iran, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia and beyond auditioned in Yerevan in those sessions.

In 2023, our inaugural masterclasses featured coaches from the Royal Opera House’s Jette Parker Programme. ​
